The Advanced Filter, located on specific views, allows users to narrow the content of the information displayed on a screen. The filters are context sensitive based on where the user initiated the filter.
Click the Advanced Filter drop-down menu.
Select the checkboxes for the items you want to show.
In the Payroll on the Pay Entry views, select the checkboxes that apply:

Adds all of the possible payee types (as listed below) for inclusion in your display list. |

Includes wage employees in your pay entry display. |

Includes contract workers paid via 1099 (both individuals as well as company contractors) in your pay entry list. |
Click one of the following:
SAVE to save your filter selection as the default filter for this view.
APPLY for a point in time filter. After the user navigates away from the application, the filter reverts to the saved filter selection.

When APPLY is selected, the Advanced drop-down menu displays red to indicate a temporary filter selection. As long as the user remains logged in to an application, the filter remains. After the user navigates to a different icon (for example: from Company to People), the applied filter is no longer saved. |
CANCEL to discard the changes and close the Advanced Filter drop-down menu.
When selected, the following checkbox items display above the Find payee by name or ID field:
Active
Terminated
On Leave
Group name
Inactive (PEO clients only)
