Additional fields are available for the Benefits Administration Application.
Benefits Administration Application Indicator: Indicates if this worker's record is accessible in the Benefits Administration Application.
Benefits Pay Frequency: The frequency deductions are scheduled to be sent to the payroll system. Use this field to determine eligibility for specific benefits.
Benefits Administration Custom Fields: Provides additional eligibility information based on specific benefit plan criteria.
Benefits Termination Reason: Determines if a worker left for reasons that allow him to be eligible for COBRA benefits.
Eligibility Override Date: Overrides a worker's eligibility date currently in the system. Enter any effective date in this field, regardless of the eligibility rules. This allows exceptions to the benefit eligibility rules.
Insurance Annual Salary: The annual salary for an employee that is used for benefit eligibility in volume based benefits such as disability plans. The Insurance Annual Salary override can be used to enter a value other than the calculated value.
Insurance Standard Hours: The average hours worked by an employee, per pay period, that are used to identify benefit eligibility. The Insurance Standard Hours, Hourly Rate, and Pay Frequency are also used to calculate the Insurance Annual Salary for Benefits Administration clients. The Insurance Standard Hours can be set to be the same as Standard Hours.
Set the Benefits Administrator Application Indicator to Yes to make the following fields required:
