Creating a custom report

Need a report with customized information, such as a Payroll Journal for a specific date range? You can create it in Paychex Flex:

  1. From the Quick Reports tile on the dashboard, choose View Reports.

  2. Under the desired Top Reports heading, select the report name; the drawer for that report slides out.

  3. Select the Create button. The Reporting service opens, allowing you to enter parameters to create the custom report.

    Some reports cannot be customized. If so, you will not see the Create button.

    When the report is generated, it is listed in the reports drawer, available from the Quick Reports tile on the dashboard, and has a special “Custom” icon.

    The custom report is saved in the reports drawer for seven days.
