Agency vs. Vendor

Agency

An agency is a federal, state, or local federal organization that creates tax and compliance regulations. An agency is a federal state or local organization.

Vendor

A vendor is person or a company that performs a service for the company.  A vendor is usually paid with a check. The dollar amount is entered in the Vendor Payment layout in Payroll Entry.

Add a Vendor

1. Click Add Vendor. The Add Vendor screen displays.

2. Enter the applicable information.

3. Click SAVE.

Add an Agency

1. Click Add Agency. The Add Agency screen displays.

2. Enter the applicable information.

3. Click SAVE.
