A job number can be a straight or a segmented number.
A segmented number allows you to customize a job ID and uniquely identify different jobs. This allows more specific reports to be run. There can be up to three segments not to exceed 25 characters for a specific ID. The name of the segment cannot be more than 30 characters long.
